Great North & Iquitos (18 days)

GREAT VOYAGE TO THE NORTH PERU ROUTE, IQUITOS FULL JUNGLE 18 Days Day 1.Arrive Lima. Transfer to hotel in Miraflores. Day 2.After a good rest since a long fly from your country the night before. Now, you will have a quiet  day  visiting the Larco Museum, considered a must seen museum by all travels editors and undoubtedly one of the top museums in Latin America and the National Museum of Archeological and History of Peru, where you will see the famous stone monuments from primitive age (1,000 b.c.), the “Estelas Raymondi” and the Tello Obelisc”. (They will pick you up at 9.15 am. Ends at 1: pm). After lunch we will catch our fly to Chiclayo at 15:45.  Arriving at 17:15. Sleep in Chiclayo. Hotel????. BLD Day 3.Transfer to ACP Chaparri. Birding  in the path of the Huachuma. Pernoct at Chaparri Reserve. BLD Day 4.Birding early in the morning. Exit of the reserve. Stop at Tinajones reservoir for observation of aquatic birds. Trip to Pimentel. Lunch. Trip to Jaén through Abra Porculla. Night in hotel El Bosque. BLD Day 5. 6:30 am departure from Jaén and observation of birds between Jaen and Bagua. Breakfast. Trip to Pedro Ruiz with stops for birdwatching. Lunch. Trip to Chachapoyas with stops for birdwatching. Dinner hotel Casa Vieja. BLD Day 6.6:00 am Departure of Chachapoyas to Kuelap, watching birds in the Valley. Breakfast en route. Ascent to Choctamal. Lunch. Visit to Kuelap. Hotel ????. BLD Day 7.6.00 visit to the forest of Huiquilla trip to Pomacochas and the wonderful Hummingbird sighting. Night in Puerto Pumas Hotel. BLD Day 8. Exit 5.00 to Abra Patricia - visit all morning. Afternoon: visit the Tingana reserve. Night in  El Mirador hotel. BLD Day 9. Trip to Tarapoto. PM flight to Iquitos. Night in Victoria Regia Hotel. BLD Day 10.Land transport to Nauta. Trip by boat until 20 January (Pacaya - Samiria). Visit surrounding areas and a cocha. Overnight at Rumbo al Dorado Lodge. BLD Day 11. Fluvial transportation to Germán Cano with lunch in Yarina and overnight in tents. BLD Day 12. By boat transfer to Rumbo al Dorado Lodge. Overnight there. BLD Day 13.Recognition of la cocha and paiche fish demonstration. BLD Day 14.Back from the Rumbo al Dorado lodge to Yarina. Birdwatching in ' la Cocha ' of Mauca. Come into the community of Yarina. BLD DAY 15. Yarina return by boat in the Nauta river to Iquitos. Night in?????’ BLD Day 16.Morning break in Iquitos. In the afternoon visit The Allpahuayo-Michana National Reserve. Sleep in ?????? BLD Day 17.5:00 visit to the Allpahuayo-Mishana National Reserve for birdwatching. PM  departure to the islands of the Amazon for birdwatching.  Night at ????Hotel .BLD Day 18.Flight Iquitos - Lima. Depending if you fly in the morning or in the afternoon, once in Lima you will have a free Day Use in a hotel near to the airport. Transfer to the airport.
